What is a Bunny?

bunny

The bunny is a small, cute animal. The name is usually used by small children, and it also has a “y” ending to it that fits in with other animal nicknames like puppy and kitty.

Rabbit (Leporidae)

A rabbit is a mammal that is found almost all over the world. It has a long, soft coat that can be either brown, gray or buff in color.

Wild rabbits have large ears and strong hind legs. They are prey animals, and their instincts include recognising danger and fleeing it before it notices them.

Rabbits are active and athletic animals that require regular exercise to keep their muscles and bones strong. They can be housed indoors or outdoors and should be given a run to exercise in. The run should be spacious and insulated from the elements, allowing the rabbit to escape from the sun or rain when necessary.

When not exercising, the rabbit should be kept in a darkened, sheltered resting area. Ideally, the rabbit’s resting area should be permanently attached to an exercise area to which it has access at all times.

The rabbit should be fed a balanced diet of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and grain. They should not be allowed to eat too many high-fat, high-sugar items as this can cause health problems.

They should be vaccinated against disease and vaccinations should be done regularly to help prevent diseases from spreading. The rabbit should also be checked by the vet for any signs of illness, particularly if it has been outside for a long time or has been exposed to toxins.
